Creating DVD's from Photo's

In the past most families gathered personal histories of their lives either in photo albums or 35mm slides. Due to the cost of buying a film and paying for the film to be developed, pictures tended to only record the most special of events.

Fast forward 50 years to the present day and photography costs nothing other than the investment in a reasonable camera or camera phone. We no longer have to think about the cost of pressing the 'Capture' button, we just click away. Unfortunately, this new technology has created another problem which is caused by the volume of photos and video clips that are being created.

Most people will file these images into folders (sometimes in an organized fashion) on their computers, but the practice of sharing your photos over a glass of wine or a bottle of beer has been lost. Sitting in front of a relatively small computer screen searching through directories no longer creates the same atmosphere as printed photos once did.

That's where Cheeky Monkey Photo Art comes in! Send us your favorite photos and we'll turn them into a visual story with accompanying sound track to watch on your television using your DVD player to enjoy with your friends and family.

Our aim is to bring your photos to life and to do this we use the latest digital editing software and lots of experience from past commissions. Once we have fully established your requirements we set about creating your DVD in the following way.

We first check the digital Photos sent to us
Photos are cropped and enhanced to ensure they look their best
Pan and Zoom animation is added to selected photos to give the feel of movement and flow
Image transitions are created between photos to give a seamless movement between images when the DVD is played
Menus and titles are added
Nothing sets the scene and emotion of a movie more than music! Either you supply the music or we can supply
The movie is now played to check that it meets with your requirements before the DVD is created
Finally the DVD label and inlay cover is printed with your personal message and a picture of your choice from those supplied.

NB. Photo duration, transition theme, music and titles can all be customised!
